Delali A. Gawu Esq.

Delali is a legal practitioner and academic. She is a co-founder and director of Light Associates Unlimited.

From her previous engagements at the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General’s Department, and as a private legal practitioner, she has to her credit a rich experience in criminal prosecution, client representation in civil suits, and resolution of matters amenable to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

As an academic, she teaches the Law of Taxation at the Faculty of Law, KNUST, and has previously taught Criminal Law, African Union Law, and Law Relating to Estate Management in the same institution. She has published journal articles and book chapters and presented conference papers in her areas of research interest.

Delali is the awardee of the best student in the Law of Interpretation of Deeds and Statutes at the 2012 Call to the Ghana Bar, recipient of the Chevening Scholarship and the best graduating student of the 2016 cohort of LLM Law and Economics at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).
